AngolaArlete Borges is a deputy of the National Assembly of Angola and has sat in its delegation to the Pan-African Parliament since 2024. She was elected Fourth Vice-President for the Southern region on 30 April 2026, for a three-year mandate, and her election was welcomed by the President of the National Assembly of Angola.
